We are happy to announce that since the bus accident on Nov. 4, the last two students have returned this semester to the ACU campus. Even with limited mobility, Naomi Cruz, freshman animal science major from Richmond, Texas and Anna Ciufo, freshman animal science major from The Woodlands, Texas are smiling and spreading joy throughout campus.

“It has been a challenge to get around and do things I used to do,” said Ciufo. “Being back on the ACU campus, I feel surrounded by love from so many different people.”

Many people have told Anna they have been praying for her and the others involved with the bus accident.

“It is so neat and a testimony to God’s work here to know that this whole situation has been completely covered in prayer,” said Cuifo. “Since the accident I have felt God’s presence like I never have before, just knowing that he has been with me every single step of this journey.”

As Anna and Naomi continue to make great strides on campus, Pat Miller, wife of Assistant Professor of Range and Environmental Science, Emmett Miller, has returned home from Hendrick Rehabilitation Center. She is receiving therapy at home and showing great improvement.
