Dear Colleagues,

As part of my application for tenure and promotion, I respectfully submit this portfolio of my work in teaching, scholarship, service and collegiality, supported by examples of evidence, commendation, and reflection.  By means of this portfolio I demonstrate my professional growth and development since my arrival at ACU in 2013, my appointment to a non-tenure-track faculty position in 2016, and to a tenure-track faculty position in 2018.  Each facet supports my claim that I fulfill the expansion of criteria and examples for tenure and promotion outlined for Library faculty.

Each of the four major section contains a reflective statement and examples of supporting evidence.  I also provide additional clarifying materials on same page with my CV: the Library’s Expansion of Criteria and Examples for Tenure and Promotion, my full CV, my annual reviews and letters of support.  In addition to the sidebar links above and to your right, I provide sequential links at the bottom of each section to facilitate easy navigation through the portfolio.  Links to embedded documentation and web-based examples open in a new tab.

I appreciate the opportunity this reflective exercise affords me to examine my work.  I also embrace the opportunity to submit the body of my work–the labor of my years at this institution–to the review of my esteemed peers and colleagues.  I pray the welcome light of scrutiny reveals first the good work of God; may it then unfold ways in which I might more faithfully steward the gifts of his grace.
