Description: In this lecture we explore three separate methods for determining the volume of a figure: slicing, discs, shells. Each method attempts to describe the area of the cross-section of a figure and uses different techniques to do so. Much attention is given to developing the formulas and then using the formulas in both vertical and horizontal orientations.
