What does God look like? Visual artists of various kinds (painters, filmmakers, poets, novelists) have attempted to depict God, and their attempts communicate what they believe about God. In your estimation, which of the images below best represents God? Why choose that particular depiction? What does that depiction of God communicate about your theology? How have the four areas of the Wesleyan Quadrilateral (scripture, tradition, reason, and experience) influenced your preference for that depiction?
Which images would you use to depict God? Spend some time searching the internet and create your own collage (using an app like Picstitch). Share your collage with your friends and ask for their reactions.
