In his Spotlight, Dr. Rick Lytle will reflect on views of calling: academic, professional, and spiritual.A calling is a “divine appointment” not reserved to professional ministers and clergy. In fact, most of Jesus’ work was done with marketplace people. We’ll consider how often the teaching of Jesus builds on the work of men and women in the world.

Dr. Rick Lytle is a professor of marketing and Dean of the College of Business Administration. His research interests include service leadership, and he recently returned from a semester with the Study Abroad program in Oxford, England. He is the author of the forthcoming Abandon the Ordinary.
