Mark your calendar! Human Resources is pleased to announce that TIAA-Cref will be on campus Thursday, April 5 and will be offering three educational sessions. Sessions will be held in the Campus Center Living Room.
12-1 p.m. – How Am I Doing? (please feel free to bring your lunch with you to this session)
Living a hectic life makes saving for retirement and other financial goals quite challenging. Join us at our seminar to learn a few simple steps that can help put you on the right track to planning your future today.
1:30-2:30 p.m. – A Personal Journey
What’s your vision of retirement? Enjoying a comfortable and rewarding retirement will depend upon having enough income to live on in addition to good health and relationships with family and friends. A sound retirement strategy can help make all the difference. This seminar may help you simplify your retirement.
3-4 p.m. – Investing for Life’s Goals
This seminar will address creating and adjusting your portfolio of investments to reach your retirement goal, defining your goals and time horizon, and the trade-off between risk and return.
If you have remaining funds in your 2011 flexible spending account, please be aware that the deadline to submit manual claims or online claims is March 31, 2012.
There will be periodic benefit Q&A meetings each month. The next one will be on March 22, 2012, at 3:00 p.m. in the Adams Center Classroom.

Due to staffing shortages University Purchasing ‘s Warehouse will be changing to a soft close during all Spring and Christmas breaks. A soft close will include receiving in-coming shipments and phone calls only. There will be limited deliveries made and all overnight packages will be delivered in the morning. If there is a need for any shipments that have arrived, the warehouse will be open and available for you to pick up your package in the case a special delivery can not be made. There will not be an afternoon pick up for out-going shipments or overnights. There are overnight drop off boxes located in the Campus Center, or you may leave your ground packages at the Campus Store dock by the back door of the Campus Stores receiving area.
