Each year during Pre-Session, we present awards to two outstanding staff members. Please submit your nominations for this honor by filling out this form. The Senior Leadership Team will select the honorees from nominations submitted by faculty and staff. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, June 29.

The annual staff awards were presented at pre-session. Congratulations to the following winners:

• John C. Stevens Award – Teena Kincaid, Events Coordinator
• Unsung Servant Award – Hannah R. Davis, Student Support Coordinator
• Outstanding Staff Member – Juan Nunez, Head Men’s Tennis Coach
• Outstanding Staff Member – Veronica Summers, Director of International Student Engagement

The Senior Leadership Team will select the honorees based on nominations from faculty and staff. The deadline to submit nominations is Monday, June 23.

Please make sure you completed the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities’ (CCCU) assessment of faculty and staff thriving survey by November 15. This instrument is designed to measure faculty and staff levels of thriving, which is defined as positive emotions and vital engagement in your role at ACU. The survey also assesses what it takes for university faculty and staff to thrive: aspects of the institutional environment that support or hinder your thriving. Our purpose is to discover the extent to which our faculty and staff are enjoying their work here, to uncover any gender or racial differences, and to surface the aspects of the environment that may be hindering your ability to thrive. The survey should only take 15 minutes to complete and all responses are confidential and only grouped data will be reported to the institution. These surveys will allow ACU to compare our results to other CCCU institutions.

The Senior Leadership Team will select the honorees based on nominations they receive from faculty and staff. The deadline to submit nominations is Tuesday, June 18.

Congratulations to the following award recipients who were announced during Faculty Pre-Session:

• Provost’s Award for the Advancement of Spiritual Formation – Dr. Shelly Sanders, professor, Department of Language and Literature
• Provost’s Award for Service – Dr. Jonathan Stewart, professor, Dukes School of Finance
• Provost’s Award for Scholarship – Dr. Qiang (John) Xu, professor, Department of Biology
