Due to the inclement weather on Monday, January 31, please see the following information regarding submitting time:
Non-Exempt employees will see an “Inclement Weather” line on their Web Time. Non-Exempt employees (including temporary employees) who did not work during the closure should record their normally scheduled hours as inclement weather. Non-Exempt employees who worked during the closure, including checking work email and voice mail, should record the time worked as base pay and the remainder of their regular schedule as inclement weather.
Exempt employees need not take any action due to the weather.
Note: Employees already taking vacation days should still record the time off as vacation, not inclement weather.
Each department needs to decide how to handle its student employees. Departments may: 1) allow students to work extra hours to make up the time missed, 2) pay your student employees their regularly scheduled hours during the closure. Student employees will not have an inclement weather line and should record the hours as timed work, OR 3) inform students that they should not log missed hours for the closure days.
Approvers will now need to approve time through the Employee Dashboard. Please reference the following steps to approve time.
With ACU being closed for the Fourth of July holiday yesterday, all staff and student employees should submit their leave reports and timesheets today, July 5. Supervisors will still need to approve the leave reports and timesheets today, July 5. You can access the payroll calendar as well as subscribe to the Human Resources calendar for additional dates.

Download the FY22 Payroll Calendar to make certain you are meeting payroll deadlines. Completed PAFs are due to Human Resources by the due date indicated for each pay period. For example, the next PAF deadline is Friday, August 9, which will be processed for the Friday, Aug. 20 payday. Email questions to humanresources@acu.edu.
All staff and student employees should submit their leave reports and timesheets today, April 13. Supervisors will need to approve the leave reports and timesheets tomorrow, April 14. You can access the payroll calendar as well as subscribe to the Human Resources calendar for additional dates.
Student employees who are currently working should be logging their hours as normal. Those who were not able to work during March 16 – April 9 should log their normal work schedule on the “Campus Closure” line on their timesheet. Beginning April 10, only students who are completing work should be logging those hours on their timesheets. It is critical that student timesheets are actually verified and approved by the supervisor.
All leave benefit eligible employees will have their holiday balances loaded with the payroll that processes this week for the January 5th – January 18th pay period. Employees can still enter their holiday hours for MLK on their timesheet or leave report as usual and those hours will process correctly.
Effective January 2020, ACU is making the transition from running monthly and semi-monthly payrolls to running a bi-weekly payroll for all employees. Details regarding the transition and FAQ’s can be found here. Additional information and FAQ’s will be added to this document as needed. Please email your questions to humanresources@acu.edu. Please share this information with your student employees and anyone in your household who needs to be aware of the payroll transition.
