You and your covered dependents have access to The Standard’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP). This confidential service offers free over-the-phone counseling any time, day or night, to help you with a variety of personal situations. The EAP also provides up to 3 counseling sessions for both you and your covered dependents, either in person or over the phone. Counselors can help with concerns such as emotional well-being and health, relationships, parenting and addiction. With the busy traveling time among us, please keep in mind that ACU has a telemedicine option available. ACU partners with Teladoc to provide telemedicine to all employees and dependents enrolled on the medical plan. Getting sick is never convenient, but telemedicine provides more convenient, quicker access to a medical professional for common conditions. Teladoc allows members to access a doctor from your home, office, or anywhere – 24/7/365. To access Teladoc, you will visit Teladoc.com or the Teladoc app.

A consultant from TIAA will be offering individual counseling sessions on campus to discuss your personal financial situation and retirement investments on May 12th and 13th. You can register for an appointment online. Appointments fill up fast and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Register HERE and select “In Person.”

If you currently have Critical Care Insurance and/or Accident Insurance, you can use this form to be reimbursed for a health screening.

Do you need to update the amount you contribute to your retirement account? You may change the amount of your contributions at any time. All changes will become effective as soon as you make updates and will remain in effect until modified or terminated by you. You may discontinue your contributions anytime. Once you stop making contributions, you may start again at any time. You can change your retirement savings by logging into Workday, going to “Benefits and Pay” on the left-hand menu, and clicking on “Change Retirement Savings.”

ACU is excited to offer Medicare 101 Sessions to our employees again this year! We are hosting virtual sessions with a Medicare expert, Tamela Southan, who will be able to answer any questions you may have regarding Medicare, how it works, how Medicare and ACU insurance work together, and how they don’t, etc. Please feel free to invite your spouse to this virtual meeting as well.
