Beware of Email Phishing Attempts!

Criminals are very clever as they try to gain access to your bank accounts, etc. Things to be aware of:

  • Check the link before clicking it! Most phishing messages contain a link in the message. Do not click any link in an email unless you are certain it is a valid link.
  • Be wary of opening attached files. Some phishing messages contain an attachment. Do not open any attachment unless you are certain the email is legitimate.
  • You can manually mark the email as spam.

1881 Food Truck – Employee Discount

The 1881 Food truck will be giving all ACU Faculty/Staff 10% off during the first week of school. Simply show your ACU ID to receive the discount. The menu will be posted daily on the 1881 Food truck Facebook page.

Schedule:

Tuesday, January 15th – ACU Mall Area from 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Wednesday, January 16th – HWC Patio from 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m.
Friday, January 18th – ACU Mall Area from 11:30 a.m.- 1 p.m.

HSA 2019 Contributions

If you elected the Health Saving Account (HSA) for 2019, your ACU’s employer contribution will be deposited to your HSA account 3-5 business days after your first paycheck of the year. For non-exempt employees, the first paycheck of the year would be Jan. 15th and for exempt employees that would be Feb. 1st. If you have elected to make contributions to your HSA, these will be available 3-5 business days after each payroll processes. Please contact HR if you have further questions.

ACU Basketball Wildcat Diaper Derby

The Birthplace at Hendrick and ACU Athletics invite you to enter your baby to participate in our inaugural Diaper Derby on Saturday, January 26. Twelve lucky babies will be selected to be a part of the action and crawl/ race at halftime of an ACU Wildcats basketball game. Each participant will receive four (4) tickets to the game and Hendrick/ACU Wildcat gear! For more information, contact ACU Athletics or click here.

Benefit Deductions for 2019

Your 2019 benefit deductions will be seen for the first time on Jan 15th  and Feb 1st paycheck. Please take a minute to look at your pay stub in Banner so that you are aware of your earnings and deductions. It’s really important that you verify your deductions were set up as you expected. Failure to notify HR of a discrepancy in a timely manner could result in our inability to process a change.

Year-end Donation Processes
