United Way Giving Campaign

by   |  10.30.20  |  Announcements

ACU has kicked off our annual United Way campaign for faculty and staff. Please consider participating this year by contributing to this excellent organization. The United Way of Abilene invests 99 cents of every dollar it receives back into the Abilene community, helping a wide variety of local non-profit organizations. This is an opportunity to give back to our city and reach out to our neighbors. We will be offering an incentive for employees who give to the United Way campaign. The department with the highest percentage of giving will receive free lunch from a local restaurant as a reward. Our campaign ends on Dec. 1, and we need your gift to help make a big impact on Abilene. Any amount is appreciated; even $5 a month can be used to help someone in critical need. Thank you for your prayerful consideration in supporting the United Way. You can email the completed form to humanresources@acu.edu or print and return it to Human Resources at ACU Box 29106 no later than Dec. 1. Questions regarding the United Way giving campaign can be sent to Lindsay Palmer at lsp10b@acu.edu. (You can find the United Way Link: here)

by   |  10.26.20  |  Announcements

We all are facing pandemic fatigue. We think, “How much more of this must we endure?” Maybe for some of us, we even find ourselves wrestling with our faith and wondering what God thinks of the pain and challenges of this chaotic world? This week, we want to offer hope and comfort, and remind us all that God is on the throne. He loves us and cares deeply for us. For God calls us to peace and to cast our burdens on Him. Listen to this presentation by Max Lucado and follow it up with his coronavirus prayer, “Do it again, Lord.”
