The Parade of Flags is a celebrated part of the Opening Assembly on the first day of classes each fall. Its absence has been felt these past two years, but we are excited to announce that it will return on August 29th! In this exciting ACU tradition, current students and/or employees are invited to carry flags representing their home states and countries. We need your help to ensure every state, territory, country, and province of the ACU family is represented in the procession. With the upcoming opening of Moody Coliseum, Dr. Schubert and the Senior Leadership Team would like to remind all faculty and staff to make plans to attend Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Mondays throughout the semester. This is a core gathering in our community, and your presence is requested. Offices may close so that everyone can attend. Your participation any day in addition to Monday is also encouraged, as you have availability.

It is time to complete the ACS Tuition Benefit Application for the 2022-23 school year. If you have children who will be attending ACS in the fall, please complete the application by Aug. 19, 2022. Here’s more information regarding the Abilene Christian School tuition benefit.

With ACU being closed for the Fourth of July holiday yesterday, all staff and student employees should submit their leave reports and timesheets today, July 5. Supervisors will still need to approve the leave reports and timesheets today, July 5. You can access the payroll calendar as well as subscribe to the Human Resources calendar for additional dates.

On Thursday, July 7, Information Technology will roll out upgrades to Self-Service Banner, accessed using the Banner link in myACU. All the familiar menu options will remain available, such as submitting time or leave reports. You will find them in the menu using the four-squares icon in the upper left of the screen.
