ACU Dining announces our ‘Fall Festival’ event part of our annual series Joyful! The Joyful series is aimed at created meaningful moments and experience to spread joy to our ACU community throughout the semester. To welcome the Fall season, we will host ‘Festival’ on October 6th, starting at 11:00am, in The Campus Mall. All Chartwell’s campuses will hold the event on the same date as to simultaneously celebrate!
CUPA-HR has released a new Understanding Higher Education e-learning series. Course 1 is perfect for all new higher ed hires. The second and third courses (for CUPA-HR members only, ACU is a member) offer HR professionals and aspiring higher ed leaders a deeper dive into topics such as tenure, Title IX, leadership and more. September 15-October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month. Join us in paying tribute to generations of Hispanic Americans during this month. To learn more about Hispanic American history and heritage and to get involved in events to honor this influential community, visit www.hispanicheritagemonth.gov.
With the newly named Faulkner Center for Marriage and Family, the Family First program will move under the work of this center. All future related Family First events and advertisements will be hosted by the Faulkner Center for Marriage and Family, and will reflect this name change. To kickoff the work of the Faulkner Center, we are offering a drawing for a pair of free tickets for a Marriage Date Night at Refuge Ranch on October 1st from 6-7:45 pm. To enter the drawing, please email faulknercenter@groupmail.acu.edu by 5pm on September 26th.
If you are interested in serving as a Faculty/Staff advisor for one of our International Student Organizations for the 2022-23 school year, please reach out to veronica.summers@acu.edu. We have specifically 3 groups that could benefit from having 1 or 2 more advisors: African Students Association, Asian Students Organization, Third Culture Kids.

We will address the unique needs of congregational and ministry leaders by crafting experiences specifically for children’s ministers, Hispanic ministers, preachers, recovery ministry leaders, small-church leaders, and youth ministers. Or, join our general interest community, led by faculty from the College of Biblical Studies, that will explore 1 Peter and the relevance it holds for the church today.
