The Abilene Shakespeare Festival returns this summer with two of the Bard’s comedies: Love’s Labour’s Lost (the musical) directed by Adam Hester (June 15 and 17); and The Taming of the Shrew directed by Gary Varner (June 16 and 18). Both productions wll be in the Fulks Theatre at 7:30 p.m. each evening. Admission is FREE! Donations will be accepted Check out acu.edu/theatre for more information!

Each year during Pre-Session, we take the opportunity to present awards to two outstanding staff members. Please submit your nominations for this honor by filling out this form. The Senior Leadership Team will select the honorees based on nominations they receive from faculty and staff. The deadline to submit nominations is Friday, June 23.
ACU’s All-State Choir Camp is back, June 28-July 1. Help us spread the word! Our camp offers high school students the tools and experiences they need to be successful in the TMEA All-State Choir audition process. We focus on all aspects of choral musicianship, including leadership, service, community-building, and being a well-rounded singer. Rehearsals are balanced with fun and engaging activities. An experienced team of section leaders, counselors, and staff (which include many ACU alums) will lead this exceptional camp. Register at acu.edu/choirs by June 26.
Homecoming is just a few months away, with a big celebration planned for Oct. 12-15. If your department or organization is having a reception or an event, the Alumni team would love to know what you have planned so we can include your event in our general Homecoming promotions and help communicate about it. The ACU Medical Clinic is accepting appointments for wellness exams for ACU-insured employees and spouses. To earn your wellness credit, you must complete an annual exam and receive biometric screening for you AND your spouse (if covered) by Sept. 30, 2023, both of which the ACU MACCC can assist you with. The SRWC will be closed Saturday, May 27 – Monday, May 29 for the Memorial Day Holiday. It will return to regular summer hours on Tuesday, May 30 at 6 a.m. Please plan your workouts accordingly.
During our most recent plan review with HSA Bank we learned that many of our active account holders have not downloaded their mobile app. If you are one that has not taken advantage of this tool, we highly encourage you to do so. Starting Monday, May 15, 2023, University Mail & Copy Services will be operating under summer hours. We will be open Monday through Friday 8 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 5 pm. We will be closing for lunch.
