New Magazine Archives Available from the ACU Library

Thanks to the Texas State Library, the ACU Library has made available five significant news archives available to faculty, staff, and students. National Geographic Magazine (1888-2020), Life Magazine (1936-2000), Time Magazine (1923-2000), Newsweek (1933-2012), and two new historical newspapers, the El Paso Times (1881-2009) and El Paso Herald Post (1896-1996). Come check out a treasure trove of great stories and pictures, including this Life Magazine cover featuring ACU Alum Bobby Morrow.

Cashier Hours

REMINDER: Beginning July 1st, the Finance office Cashier hours will change to afternoons – 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Days of operation will remain the same on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Be a Home Away From Home host family

The Office of International Students & Visiting Scholars is looking for families in the Abilene community who are interested in being a Home Away From Home host family for our international students for the upcoming school year. To clarify, HAFH is NOT a homestay program, nor are there any financial obligations involved. It is simply a program designed to connect our international students with a local family who will meet with them, at minimum, once a month to provide our international students with a first hand experience of what it’s like to be a part of an American family and to have a place that they can call home away from home.
