ACU kicks off its annual United Way campaign for faculty and staff this week. If you haven’t already, please consider contributing to this excellent organization. The United Way of Abilene invests 99 cents of every dollar it receives back into the Abilene community, helping a variety of local nonprofit organizations. This is an opportunity to give back to our city and reach out to our neighbors. Donations are being collected through March 13, and we need your gift to help make a big impact on Abilene. Any amount is appreciated; even $5 a month can be used to help someone in critical need.
During our campaign week, we will have a drawing each day from the pledges turned in the previous day. Prizes include an ACU athletic swag basket, a $65 credit in the ACU Gear Shop, access for two to the Brown Family Club Level at a football game, Sing Song tickets, and throwing the ceremonial first pitch at one of our baseball games. To be eligible to win the drawing for each day, you must submit your pledge form prior to 4 p.m.
