International Travel Policy Reminder

by   |  04.01.26  |  Announcements

International Travel Policy Reminder As a reminder, all employees and students planning international travel for university purposes are required to submit a travel approval request, regardless of the U.S. Department of State advisory level. This applies to all non-credit-related international travel. Credit-related international travel will continue to be coordinated through ACU Study Abroad. Submitting a travel request ensures Risk Management is aware of your plans and that required international insurance coverage is in place prior to departure, along with access to resources and guidance for your travel. You can review the policy, access the travel organizer checklist, and submit your request here. For questions, please contact Risk Management at risk@acu.edu.

University Driver Policy & Required Passenger List

ACU Driver Policy Reminder If you drive for university business, please take a moment to ensure you are aligned with the University Driver Policy (Policy No. 740). Supervisors are asked to maintain an up-to-date list of Routine Drivers (as defined in the policy) and submit it annually to Risk Management. Routine Drivers must complete an annual motor vehicle record check and driver safety training every five years. Before any trip that includes passengers, a passenger list must be submitted to Risk Management prior to departure. This helps us support traveler safety and emergency response readiness. Risk Management is happy to assist with driver records, training verification, or questions at risk@acu.edu. Thank you for helping keep our campus community safe on the road.
