Upcoming 50th Anniversary of the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy

The Women for ACU invite you to our annual Fall Welcome Salad Luncheon on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 11:30 a.m. in the Williams Performing Arts Center on the ACU campus. Our guest speaker will be Gene Boone who will share his amazing story as a Dallas County Sheriff’s Deputy responsible for investigating the Texas School Book Depository where he found the rifle used by Lee Harvey Oswald to shoot President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963. Some of us remember exactly where we were when we heard that President Kennedy had been shot on Nov. 22, 1963. Some of us have only read about this tragic event in history books. You are invited to attend this commemoration of the upcoming 50th anniversary of the assassination of President Kennedy and see this piece of history from another perspective.
