Be a Home Away From Home host family

The Office of International Students & Visiting Scholars is looking for families in the Abilene community who are interested in being a Home Away From Home host family for our international students for the upcoming school year. To clarify, HAFH is NOT a homestay program, nor are there any financial obligations involved. It is simply a program designed to connect our international students with a local family who will meet with them, at minimum, once a month to provide our international students with a first hand experience of what it’s like to be a part of an American family and to have a place that they can call home away from home.
