It is election time for the 2024-26 ACU Staff Senate! If you meet the eligibility requirements below, please consider running for Staff Senate! You may review the full Staff Senate bylaws here.
Qualifications for Staff Senators (from the bylaws):
- Classified through HR as an ACU Abilene campus staff position
- Completed one full year of continuous service to ACU
- Employed by ACU at least half time
- Has not served on Staff Senate within the last two years
- Not currently represented by Faculty Senate
- Is not employed as an administrator (president, vice presidents, assistant or associate vice presidents, provost, assistant or associate provost, deans, assistant or associate deans, or assistant to the president)
- Your position is not funded by a grant so it doesn’t violate the grant qualifications
