September 24th from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wal-Mart pharmacists will be in the Hunter Welcome Center (Zone A) to administer flu vaccines to ACU Faculty, Staff and their dependents (age 8 and up). All you need to do is bring your photo I.D. & Cigna ID card to receive this preventive vaccine at no charge. Tdap, pneumonia and meningitis vaccines will also be available for qualified individuals (age 12 and up).
Flu Shots are also available in ACU’s Medical Clinic during normal hours. Since the Medical Clinic does not take insurance, the flu vaccine is offered at the discounted rate of $15 for faculty, staff and their dependents. You may use your HSA Bank Card or your Discovery Flex card to pay. Appointments are preferred but not required. As a reminder Faculty, Staff and dependents (12 and up) are welcome to make appointments at the Medical Clinic for illnesses as well. Call 674-2625 to schedule an appointment.
