With the introduction of faculty/staff meal plans this year, the price at the Bean for individual faculty and staff meals is now $6.50. The faculty-staff meal plan is an excellent value: 15 swipes for the Bean and 25 Faculty/Staff Bean Bucks (which do not expire) for only $80.
