The United Way of Abilene will soon hold the first Winter Lightfest — a 3/4 mile walking trail with thousands of lights and holiday displays. ACU is partnering with the United Way to offer volunteers each night from December 5-8.
Volunteers are needed for help with the following:
- Point of Sale: selling tickets at the admission gate or working in a gift shop / concession stand)
- Trail Guides: monitoring the trail, guiding traffic along the route, & assuring safety for guests)
- Clean Up Crew: cleaning trash, refilling trash liners, and assuring clean spaces throughout park)
- Hospitality: providing breaks and support to volunteer group at-large)
