As part of our wellness program, employees are encouraged to receive a biometric screening.  Completing this screening, along with an annual wellness exam, will fulfill your requirements to receive the full wellness discount on your 2021 premiums. Deadline is September 30, 2020.  If your spouse is on ACU’s medical plan, completing both of these steps will also get them the full discount.

Here’s additional information on the necessary form that your doctor or their staff can complete in order to receive credit for your biometric screening.

Changes to Single Sign-On

by   |  07.27.20  |  Announcements

On Tuesday, August 4th, ACU IT will update our purple ACU login page. The new page will have a slightly different look and feel. After ACU IT makes this change, there are three major items to note:

  • You will need to sign in using your full ACU email address (abc12d@acu.edu), rather than just your username.
  • You will be prompted to set up some basic security questions. These questions will be used to more securely reset your password in the future.
  • myACU will now require you to authenticate. When you visit my.acu.edu, you will be taken to a login screen first, and then redirected to myACU.

This change will not modify access or functionality of any other systems or services. More details can be found at this support article. If you have any questions about this change, please contact the Helpdesk at 325-674-4357.

The ACU Medical Clinic can provide all of your COVID-19 testing needs. The PCR test will be available later this summer. The PCR, which is the gold standard of testing will be available at no charge for faculty, staff and students. Watch for details.

The new FDA approved Rapid SARS Antigen test is available now for patients who have been exposed to COVID-19 and/or are exhibiting symptoms. The antigen test is a nasal swab administered via a drive up appointment for $40 and is covered by ACU’s health insurance plan.

The Medical Clinic can also administer the antibody test for patients who would like to know if they have previously been infected. The antibody test is a blood draw and is available by appointment for $65 each for the IgG (indicates previous infection) or IgM (indicates recently active infection). The antibody test is not covered by ACU’s health insurance plan. Employee, spouse and dependent clinic office visits are $45. To schedule an appointment at the ACU Medical Clinic call 325-674-2625.
