The next testing clinic is scheduled for Thursday, October 29th, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. All faculty, staff and students can receive free COVID-19 PCR testing by scheduling an appointment on this calendar.

As part of ACU’s ongoing efforts to keep our campus community as safe as possible, we are providing ongoing surveillance testing. This appointment calendar is for individuals who are NOT experiencing COVID symptoms. If you are symptomatic, please call 325.674.2625 to speak to the ACU Medical Clinic.  Questions may be sent to covidquestions@acu.edu. ACU’s PCR testing is part of a research project with TTUHSC.

SGA would like to remind faculty and staff that Monday, October 5, is the last day to register to vote in the state of Texas. Don’t miss your chance to choose your representatives and make your voice heard. You can stop by the Campus Center on Monday from 11 am – 2 pm to register to vote in person with ACU Votes.  If you don’t want to register face to face, use this link to print your own form. The form must be postmarked and mailed by the end of today for your registration to be valid.

As we work to limit the exposure to COVID, all meeting organizers are encouraged to continue utilizing remote technology to collaborate if possible instead of meeting in person.  If an in-person meeting is necessary, remind attendees of simple measures to lower risk and prevent the spread of viruses (stay home if you don’t feel well or have fever, don’t shake hands, wear masks, practice physical distancing, etc). Provide easy access to handwashing facilities, and make sure alcohol-based sanitizers are readily available to all participants. All faculty, staff and students can receive free COVID testing Tuesday, Sept. 8 by signing up at this calendar. As part of ACU’s ongoing efforts to keep our campus community as safe as possible, we are providing periodic open testing dates. The first clinic is  Tuesday, Sept. 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the west concourse of Moody Coliseum.  The clinic will be offering PCR testing as a part of a research project with TTUHSC. The next testing date will be Oct. 7. Questions may be sent to covidquestions@acu.edu.

Details about ACU’s protocols for exposure to COVID-19 are available online. If a member of the ACU community has been exposed, they should follow the Decision Tree to determine what steps to take. Testing is available in the MACCC by appointment. Remember to Do Your Part by wearing your mask, practicing physical distancing and washing your hands.

Monday, June 15th, marks the beginning of Phase 2 of the Return to Campus Plan for the Abilene campus. Please refer to ACU’s Coronavirus website for further information.

Phase 3 is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 6.

Prior to entering campus, all employees must reference this daily Health Screening Form. If fever or any other symptom is present STAY HOME. If an employee is on campus and they appear sick, please send them home immediately. Employees should also be following the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Employees should report suspected or diagnosed COVID-19 illness by completing the COVID-19 Notification Form.

All staff and student employees should submit their leave reports and timesheets today, April 13. Supervisors will need to approve the leave reports and timesheets tomorrow, April 14. You can access the payroll calendar as well as subscribe to the Human Resources calendar for additional dates.
