Benefits Tip: Open Enrollment FAQ’s

by   |  10.10.25  |  Announcements, Benefits

Q: I don’t use ACU’s health insurance. Do I still need to do open enrollment?

A: Even if you are not on ACU’s health insurance plan, you must still go through the enrollment process. There are other benefits, like the ACU-paid life insurance coverage, that you will want to confirm.

Q: I work remotely. How can I get assistance?

A: Go ahead and schedule an appointment time. Then, email humanresources@acu.edu to let us know you need your appointment via Zoom. We will send you a link before your appointment time.

Q: I see a wellness surcharge on my health premiums, but I don’t think this is right. How do I get that fixed?

A: You need to go ahead and complete your enrollment. Email humanresources@acu.edu to let us know you believe there is a wellness error. We will verify your wellness credit before deductions in January.

by   |  10.03.25  |  Announcements, Workday

The launch of our Workday system is quickly approaching. As we move towards our December go-live date, we will begin providing weekly updates on the project so that campus can be aware of the progress and expectations. – Last week, we held our Workday Experience Sessions with about 50 members from both the Abilene and Dallas campuses. This provided a small group a first hands-on look into Workday. Thank you to everyone who participated and provided such valuable feedback. – Our website has been updated with some demonstration videos that you can check out to get a feel for what Workday is going to look like. – Keep an eye out on this section as we get closer to November. In November we will begin launching Workday Training sessions in earnest. There will be frequent training opportunities both in-person and virtually. – As we transition systems, there are some key dates that you may need to be aware of, depending on your role. Please keep an eye on your email for direct communication about some of those dates. For more information about the project, please visit our website. Any questions can be sent to workdaytransition@acu.edu.
