New Medical & Prescription Cards

All employees covered under ACU’s medical plan were mailed new medical ID cards in December. You must show your new card when picking up prescriptions for the first time in 2023.

Benefits Tip: New Year, New Deductions

Please take a minute to look at your pay stub in myACU Banner so that you are aware of your earnings and deductions. Your elections from open enrollment for your 2023 benefit deductions was seen for the first time on the Jan 6th paycheck. It’s important that you verify your deductions were set up as you expected. Failure to notify HR of a discrepancy in a timely manner could result in our inability to process a change. If you need help locating your pay stub or have a question, please contact HR at x2359 or humanresources@acu.edu.

Parental Leave

With the busy traveling time among us, please keep in mind that ACU has a telemedicine option available. UCM telemedicine is available for all ACU faculty and staff. Getting sick is never convenient, and finding time to get to a doctor can be hard. UCM allows you to access a doctor from your home, office or anywhere — 24/7/365 — and is a convenient and cost-effective way to receive health care for common conditions. UCM’s licensed providers can diagnose any non-emergency medical condition with a short phone visit or secure video visit. They can also prescribe medication and send prescriptions to the pharmacy of your choice. Access UCM by visiting their website goseesam.com or by one of their two apps UCM Now or Sam by UCM.

New insurance cards will be mailed out starting in December! Please check your address to ensure it is up to date. You can update your address by going to my.acu.edu > Banner > Employee > Employee Dashboard > My Profile. Please email humanresources@acu.edu with questions.

Benefits Open Enrollment Nov. 7th – 11th

This week, November 7th – 11th, all full, reduced, and half-time faculty and staff will need to re-elect their benefits for 2023. Remember to make your elections this week for 2023. HR staff members will be available in the computer lab on the top floor of the Brown Library, Monday – Wednesday, 8:00-5:00. You can schedule an appointment or drop by for assistance.

Benefits Open Enrollment for 2023

All full, reduced and half-time employees will need to participate in Open Enrollment the week of November 7th – 11th. If you would like to attend an informational session, please see the schedule below. All meetings will be held in the Adams Center Classroom.

Monday, Oct. 31st from 3:30-5:00

Tuesday, Nov. 1st from 10:30-12:00

Wednesday, Nov. 2nd from 8:00-9:30

Thursday, Nov. 3rd from 1:30-3:00

During the week of Benefits Open Enrollment, HR will be in the Computer Lab on the 3rd Floor of the Library Monday-Wednesday for those who would like help with their enrollment. You can schedule an appointment by visiting the Benefits Annual Enrollment Calendar or simply come by for assistance. As a reminder, all benefits-eligible employees must go through the enrollment process to have benefits next year. Please contact humanresources@acu.edu with any questions.
