Secure Travel also provides assistance while traveling, this can include 24-hour multilingual assistance, referrals to physicians, arrangements for assistance in medical expense payments up to $10,00 prior to treatment, emergency cash advances, and help with lost or stolen items, (luggage and prescriptions). Lastly, New York Life Secure Travel also assists with emergency medical transportation benefits for covered individuals traveling 100+ miles from home. Did you know that Cigna offers a full-service financial wellness program? My Secure Advantage will help you find solutions to your financial challenges. You and your household have the ability to work with a “Money Coach” for 30 days at no additional cost. Your Money Coach are experts and prepared to assist you with any of your financial challenges. These challenges could include basic money management, getting out of debt, saving for college or retirement, purchasing a home, marriage or divorce, loss of income, death in the family, and more. Accessibility to your Money Coach, educational webinars, and a library of financial tools is all available through an easy-to-use online portal. It is time to complete the ACS Tuition Benefit Application for the 2022-23 school year. If you have children who will be attending ACS in the fall, please complete the application by Aug. 19, 2022. Here’s more information regarding the Abilene Christian School tuition benefit.
Did you know that ACU offers you and your family members no-cost access to licensed counselors through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)? The EAP is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, regardless of whether you elect other benefits coverage through ACU. The EAP offers 100 percent confidential assistance with a variety of situations, including addiction, stress and anxiety, relationship problems, and financial challenges. The EAP can be reached 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling 800-538-3543 or visiting cignalap.com.
ACU provides Identity Theft coverage to all benefits-eligible employees at no cost to employees. Employees have the option of adding their dependents for a nominal fee. This service offers income protection, reimbursement for allowable expenses related to the recovery of your identity, and a customer claims representative to aid you in restoring your identity. If you are a victim of identity theft, please call AIG at 1-866-IDHELP2 (434-3572) to get assistance. ACU’s group number is 7077631.
Did you know ACU has an adoption assistance program? ACU maintains the Adoption Assistance Plan to provide adoption assistance benefits to eligible employees in an effort to defray the cost of adoption. Mark Cuban’s online pharmacy promising affordable prices on prescription medications has launched. The Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Company cuts out middlemen. It negotiates directly with drug manufacturers and pharmacies for rebates and discounts on behalf of employers, health insurers, and government health programs. It says it’s offering the lowest direct-to-consumer prices on more than 100 medications, including those commonly prescribed for high cholesterol and blood pressure. The pharmacy is cash only for now. The company hopes to allow customers to use their insurance by next year.
Don’t forget about GoodRx, where you can see current prices at the pharmacies in your area and select the lowest cost for your prescriptions.
You will not use your insurance card with either of these programs, but you can still pay with your HSA or FSA cards.
