Please join us for a reception honoring Hab Adkins 17 years of service at ACU. Hab has been a wonderful asset to ACU serving in different capacities within IT.  We hope you will come and honor him on Wednesday, February 13, 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Hunter Welcome Center Foyer. 

Please join the Department of Psychology in honoring Dr. Robert “Bob” McKelvain (’71) on Wednesday, January 30 from 2:30-4:30 p.m. for 29 years of outstanding teaching, research, leadership and service to the university. His reception will be in the Adams Center Classroom and a special presentation will begin at 3:00 p.m. We hope you will be able to join us.

You’re invited to come honor Francille Vesel and her nearly 20 years of service at ACU. She’s been an incredible asset to the university over the years, particularly the advising team in its various incarnations, and we want to have an opportunity to thank her and wish her well. A reception will be held in the lobby of the Hunter Welcome Center on Monday, December 3rd from 3-5 p.m. It will be come and go with light refreshments.

Dr. Bertram, chair of Marriage and Family Studies, is moving in December to Kentucky to be closer to family. Please join us as we honor him on Friday, November 30, from 2-3:00 p.m. in the lower Rotunda of the College of Biblical Studies building.

Please join the Biology Department for a retirement reception honoring Dr. Dan Brannan for his 30 years of service at ACU, during which time he served in a variety of roles including department chair and assistant dean. We will celebrate with him and his family on Friday, May 11th from 2:00-3:30 p.m., in the lobby/atrium of the Halbert Walling Research Center.

Please join us in honoring Sandy and Gary for their service to ACU Theatre. Gary Varner has served the ACU Theatre Department for 22 years through dedicated teaching and creative craft, design and technique. Sandy Freeman has blessed ACU Theatre with her imaginative, creative and skillful work and teaching for 27 years. The reception will be on Wed., May 2 from 3-4:30 p.m. with a special presentation at 3:30 p.m. in the Sewell Theatre west lobby (EN16th and Campus Court).

Please join the faculty and staff of the ACU Library in honoring Karen Hendrick on Tuesday, May 8th, from 3:00-4:00 p.m., for her 32 years of outstanding service to the university. Her reception will be in the Library Atrium and a special presentation will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Please join the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and the Office of the Provost in honoring Dr. Tom Milholland on Thursday, May 17,  from 2:00-3:30 p.m. for his 39 years of service to the University. His reception will be in the East Lobby of Hunter Welcome Center. A special presentation will begin at 2:30 p.n. We hope you will be able to join us.
