This Fall 2012 Gerontology course was special for all involved. Not your normal classroom experience, field trips were arranged to visit twelve different local agencies that service the elderly. They included government, non-profit, and for profit businesses. Many of the people who shared their time and described their role also welcome our students as interns for the certificate’s practicum course. Some are graduates of our Gerontology program.
