If you live in or around Abilene, we invite you to spend an evening with a brave princess who decides to forge her own path in life – and with a criminal mastermind who hatches a grand scheme – and with a small-time magician who gets swept into an enchanted land – and with a coach whose perseverance turns his high school football team and his hometown upside down.
You’ll find them starring in family-friendly films monthly throughout the summer on ACU’s campus.
Movies on the Hill is a great summer activity for all ages.
Return to “the Hill” Tuesday, June 18, for showing of Brave on the front lawn of the Onstead-Packer Biblical Studies Building. Food trucks from The Smokery and Gypsy Blu will open at 7:30 p.m., and will accept cash and credit cards. Just bring yourself, your family and your lawn chairs and blankets. Admission is free.
The movie will start, weather permitting, at 8:30. Join us on the front lawn of campus, east of the Onstead-Packer Biblical Studies Building. Parking will be available on ACU Drive, accessible from Ambler Avenue or East North 16th Street; Teague Boulevard will be closed to traffic.
“We’re excited to offer a fun, family-friendly evening for the Abilene community,” says ACU Alumni Relations director Craig Fisher. “We strive to provide a welcoming place not only for our alumni, but also for our neighbors. These monthly events are a way for us to say thank you to our incredible alumni and repay a little of the support we receive every day from the residents of Abilene.”
