On this day in 1999, community service is added to the agenda for first-year students. Students enjoy opportunities to give back to the University in particular and the City of Abilene as well. ACU students volunteer over 40,000 hours of service to their community.
Next week, is Welcome Week on the ACU campus as students return and prepare for the official beginning of school on Monday, August 26, 2013. Welcome Week began in 1984. We welcome all students and especially our Gerontology students. Please drop by before your classes begin and fill us in on your summer adventures.
During Welcome Week, next week, we will share greetings to students from our Friends of PGC who have been sending their greetings to you.
