How is your first week progressing? As you go to your classes and meet your teachers, read your syllabus, and learn of the learning opportunities ahead, it all may seem a bit overwhelming.
Consider your fellow students back in early days of ACU. They went to school on Saturdays! Yes, Saturdays! It wasn’t until 1972 that Saturday classes were replaced by a five-day week, with the first classes beginning at 7:30am!
The tradition of attending class on Labor Day does continue however.
Remember, unless directed by your professor, classes will meet on Monday, Labor Day, September 2, 2013. Your Pruett Gerontology Offices will be open as well.
