Dear Dr. Pruett and Dr. Wages~ I just wanted to update you on life! As you probably know I moved to Vancouver, Washington in May. After 3 long months of looking for a job, I was hired at The Quarry Senior Living Center. I am the Life Enrichment Coordinator in the Assisted Living section overseeing about 80 residents. Most of them have Dementia. This facility is 5.5 years old and so it offers the newest and “latest” for the residents. It accommodates Independent Living, Assisted Living, and an Extensive Care Unit (mostly for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s residents).  My Gerontology certification and Family Studies degree have been extremely beneficial with this job so far and I just wanted to let you know how thankful I am for you two!   I hope both of you are doing well! I miss you guys and your wives! I will be home for a little bit over Christmas so I look forward to saying Hi at church! ~Kelsey Hancock

Kelsey is the daughter of Randy and Kim Hancock. Her favorite Bible verse, Colossians 3:12, attests to her servant-mindset:

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.”
