Sigma Phi Omega certificates will be ready for pickup Tuesday, April 29 through May 9, 2014 in the PGC Office.

Also, graduating seniors who are members of Sigma Phi Omega, please come by and pick up your special cords for graduation. Sigma Phi Omega President Laura Baxter will be in the office tomorrow, Tuesday (4/29) from 12-5. You have the choice of cords OR a medal. In addition, everyone should receive a pin.

So, to tally up the count:  you should leave our office with three items if you are graduating this semester: your certificate, your medal OR cords, and a pin.

Sigma Phi Omega (SPO), the national academic honor and professional society in gerontology, was established in 1980 to recognize excellence of those who study gerontology and aging and the outstanding service of professionals who work with or on behalf of older persons. The formation of a society provides a much needed link between educators, practitioners, and administrators in various settings where older persons are served.
