During Careers and Awareness of Aging week this week, one of our most popular events is the “Free Hugs.” This is one hour where several of our sweetest adults greet our ACU students as they enter the Campus Center, offer a hug and encouragement. Yesterday members of the Gerontological Honor Society, Sigma Phi Omega invited friends from University Place to be the Chief Huggers at their “Free Hugs!” event.
