The purpose of the PGC/ACU Town Hall Forum is to provide local citizens with the opportunity to identify aging issues, concerns, and suggested solutions for consideration by advocacy groups such as the Texas Silver-Haired Legislature. Previous town hall forums have resulted in approved legislation by the Texas state legislature. The town hall forum is also an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate students to gain valuable real-world research and social justice advocacy experience.
