The most prevalent cancers in adults over the age of sixty-five include:
- Lung Cancer
- Colon Cancer
- Bone Cancer
- Bladder Cancer
For Lung Cancer, symptoms can include:
- Difficulty breathing
- Recurring pneumonia
- Chest pain induced by coughing
- Coughing up blood
Symptoms for Colon Cancer:
- During early stages, there may not be warning signs
- Stomach Pain
- Blood in Stool
- Vomiting
Bone Cancer Symptoms:
- Pain
- Swelling near a bone
Signs of Bladder Cancer:
- Frequent urination
- Blood in urine
- Swollen bladder
- Burning sensation while urinating
In each of the cancers mentioned above, survival rates have increased. Always consult a physician when in question. It is better to be checked than to have the cancer go undetected!
