Allison Garrett, Executive Vice President of ACU announces that the stars of the A&E hit TV series “Duck Dynasty” are coming to Abilene. An event benefitting Global Samaritan Resources and Abilene Christian Schools will be hosted by Abilene Christian University in ACU’s Moody Coliseum on Sunday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m.

Outdoorsman, duck call maker and part-time preacher Silas “Uncle Si” Robertson, possibly the show’s most well-known character, will be joined by new cast members Alan and Lisa Robertson. The couple ministered at the White’s Ferry Road Church of Christ in West Monroe, La., for more than 20 years before recently joining family members on the hit series.

Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket prices range from $10-$50 and make a great stocking stuffer! Advance tickets are available now at acu.edu/duck.

The cast also has agreed to have a private ACU student event in Moody at 4 p.m. on the same day. ACU students will receive an email to claim one ticket each on a first-come, first-served basis. This special event is free for students and has limited seats available.

Thanks to very generous underwriters, the event will not result in an expense for ACU or the benefitting organizations. The underwriters include Aramark, Davis Kinard and Co., First Financial Bank, First Financial Trust & Asset Management Company, Hanner Chevrolet, and Lauren Engineers & Constructors Inc.

Have a great holiday break and help us share the news!
