Born Crabby

Every year my family goes to Branson, Missouri for a fun time and to get to see some of our other family members. The year this was taken was a hard year for my family. My grandma(Joni Murray) was the glue in my family and my greatest supporter. She went into the hospital for a procedure but sadly she never left. Our family was broken. I dreaded going to Missouri that year. However, for the first time ever, my grandfather(Jack) came on the trip with us. Though we lost a member, we had also gained a new one. This picture is one of the most precious memories I have of my grandpa. He loves crab with a passion and I knew that after everything he had endured, he deserved some crab. We went to Joe’s Crab Shack right on the Branson Landing and had a blast. It’s the little things in life that make us reflect on what really matters.
