On Friday, September 15th, Dr. Pruett spoke to the Leadership Academy of the Texas Silver-Haired Legislature (TSHL). Representatives from across the state of Texas attended the event in Dallas. The title of Dr. Pruett’s presentation was the “Texas Demographics of Aging”.
Responses from the audiences to the research-based presentation were positive and enthusiastic. Special thanks to Research Assistant, Emily Adams, a junior speech pathology major from Frisco, Texas for the data and statistics gathering.
