user will

– find/search a local restaurant by entering a starting location or click on the “current location” option

– check your starting point on the map of abilene

– click on a mode of transportation they will use to get to the restaurant, i.e. walking, biking, or driving

– enter the max distance user is willing to travel to a restaurant, ex.) 15 mi.

– select the type of food one is looking for

– user will click on the desired restaurant

– get brief directions from your location

– view restaurant’s atmosphere, pricing, food, and store hours

– view how long it will take for them to arrive at their desired location

– change starting location by clicking on the “back” button

User will:

1. Sign into their created account.

2. Search for beaches to surf at:

-Best beach breaks.

– Top rated beaches

– Most popular beaches. (Where friends are)

3. Be able to accumulate followers/friends.

4. Update surf report at the beach they are at so others can see how the surf is.

5. Comment and rate:

-Beaches and breaks.

– Other users comments/updates.

– Other users.

6. Create and invite other users to events at specific beaches.

– Update event according to how the surf is. (Easily change from one beach to another)

– Users “attending” the event will get notifications based on the location of the admin.

7. View map of the coast to see where the most popular and highest rated beaches are.

8. See a live feed of friends/followers updates and ratings.

9. Upload and view videos/photos.

– Rate videos and photos.

-Comment videos and photos.

10. Write and read reviews on certain beaches.

Skate Spot_Tasks

TASKS (Everything specific to city & or zipcode)

MAP– User can drop pin on found skate spots, search & locate skate spots nearby, city specific

NEWS FEED– (Similar to Twitter Feed) User can post comments (status’), vids/pics, anything posted can be cross posted to Twitter/Facebook. Newsfeed can be filtered for all users, nation/world wide & filters for your city, state, your friends ect…

LOGIN– Option- user can use existing Twitter or Facebook logins for easy cross posting or make new Skatespot name.

VIDS/PICS- sections, user can search, view all, upload, and comment.

SPOT FEATURES– User can see; Name/description of spot. Comments, Pics, vids from the spot. Ratings, difficulty level, danger level (getting busted) &and User can comment on spot and add to ratings or danger/difficulty level.

Welcome Screen – the user can choose one of two options to get started or use the do this at home option to email the site to themselves.

  • Serve
  • Join a Community
  • Do this at home, option so they can email site link to themselves.

Serve Process

  • User filters process by Individual, Couple or Family
  • User filters process by choosing an age range (and gender for individual)
  • User clicks through options of areas that they are interested in.
  • User is presented with an opportunities screen where results are filtered into internal and external opportunities
  • User can click on individual opportunities and access a description page of the opportunity where they have an option to join the ministry.
  • User opts to join a ministry and are presented with a screen with the leader’s contact info and a place to fill in their own as well as an option to say that they wish to be contacted by the leader.
  • Screen 7 – If the user clicks the leader’s email address on the join screen, the program allows them to email the leader immediately.

Join a Community Process:

  • User filters process by Individual, Couple or Family
  • User filters process by age range of their group.
  • User clicks through options of areas that they are interested in.
  • User will filter options by clicking the times and days of the week they are available to commit to a community
  • User will be presented with opportunities as well as a button to “Keep it close.”
  • If the user clicks the “Keep it close” button they will be presented with a ZIP code box and a drop down of how many miles they are willing to travel. Once complete they will be taken back to a filtered opportunities list.
  • When user clicks on the community group they will see a description with an option to join.
  • When the user asks to join they will see a screen with the leader’s contact info, a place to put their own and an option to be contacted.
  • If the user clicks the leader’s email address, they can immediately email the leader.

Church Search App- User Scenario 1

Home Screen

-User sees page of filters and selects one of each under the following categories:

– User selects Denomination –> Church of Christ

-User selects Service Times –> Any/All

-User selects Size of church (membership) –>   200-400, 400+

-User selects Distance from ACUs campus–> Any/All

-User presses ‘Filter’ to see results

-User sees a list of Churches and scrolls through the titles

-User clicks on Highland Church of Christ to view profile

-User sees the following list that drops down to show the secondary information:

-Volunteer Opportunities–> nursery workers needed

-Service Times–> Sunday morning at 10:00 am

-Classes Offered–> College class meets at 9:00 am

Time and Date

Login to Facebook

Create the Event

Switch the clock to 24hr time

Enter in Location, Party Name, Start Time, End Time, and set the event to Public,  Friends Only, or  Private

Viewing the main Map with an option to filter events for public, friends, or private parties

Send invites to friends

Visits the link to create QR code and sends it to his email

Receives email/facebook verification that event was created

Goes into the host back end to tag more friends

User receives a message for a successful check-in from the website and is then prompted to view the web page and find other local events

sort all events by categories: arts, music, entertainment, bar, formal, recreation, fast food, restaurant, sports, education

the user wants to see tasks on a map to show each location

can zoom in on current location to see whats near by

can search for events and places by key words

can start own event at a place for friends to see

can login to facebook and find friends already using the app

wants to change account settings to immediately open to either map or news feed or categories

wants to see reviews for a certain place and then after going wants to submit own review

is interested in place so wants to learn more, goes to page for place and finds link to website

event/place page shows user average review score, price, location, directions, and what friends have been

HOME PAGE

the user can search for parks: based on several categories ranging from hike, bike, swim, boat, run, skate, and disc.

The user is notified of burn bans or park closures…

The user can go to each parks individual profile and leave comments, and share photos taken with the camera function

The user can sort parks based on proximity using the map function

the user can use the map as a way to find directions to the park

The user can post events and view events which include detailed information about the lacation, date, time, and host of the event.

The user can use the camera function to take photos and post to park galleries
