Eric, 18, San Diego, CA

Eric is a highs school student in  San Diego, CA. Recently he has become a vegetarian just to see what it would be like. All of his friends are not and they have all made plans to go to a restaurant in downtown for prom. Eric is torn because he does not want to miss out on this awesome time but also does not want to push aside his beliefs of being a vegetarian. So Eric gets on the website in order to see what meals will be available that are completely vegetarian and what meals can be made vegetarian.

Sean, 23, Arlington, TX

Sean is a college student in Arlington, TX. Sean’s girlfriend lives in CA and is flying out to Dallas to visit Sean. Sean is picking up his girlfriend Laura in the Dallas Airport and wants to stay in Dallas for a night and find a nice restaurant to eat at that has online reservation and also gluten free meals as Laura can not have meals that contain gluten. He gets on the web and needs to find a restaurant whose website contains all this information.

Jorge is a 27yr old young professional from the burbs of Dallas Texas. Jorge is a great chef in his own right and loves to go out to fancy restaurants for inspiration and high quality food. A new restaurant has just opened in town and Jorge wants to check it out, but first he would like to see what kind of food they make and if there are any items on the menu that appetize him. He ventures to their website and discovers their excelent interactive online menu. The interface is clean and very user friendly. Jorge falls in love with the restaurant before he ever arrives!

Randy, 18, high school student

Randy lives in the country outside of Austin and wants to drive into town to take his girlfriend to eat for Valentine’s. Day. He knows that this restaurant is her favorite but he has never been there himself.He wants to know if he needs reservations so he doesn’t want to drive all the way to town and it be too busy to get a seat. He needs to find a section of the restaurant’s website that has this type of information and even see if he can reserve online.

Beth, 45, coach

Beth wants to get a sports tournament catered that her team’s school is hosting. She wants to look at a catering menu and explore all catering options for the restaurant. She needs to find info such as does the restaurant deliver the food and do they offer an attendant to keep fresh food out during serving. She also needs to know other key information like how long in advance must catering food be ordered.

Farmer John, a 32 year old male, wants to go into “The Big City” (insert big city name here.) He is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and wants to eat at a sports bar after church so he can watch the game with his friends. He wants to make sure that the game will be showing at the place he chooses to eat (his birthday = his choice.) He logs on to our website and notices a “Sports” section in the menu bar. He clicks it and finds the “TV Guide – Sports Bar Edition – Whats going to be on” Clicks it and finds that there is a list of the games that will be on and an area that you can request for them to show a game. He finds that the Cowboys game will be on already so he navigates to the Online Reservation tab and makes a reservation for his party.

anet Spivey is a 15 year old who heard from her friends about this new exciting place to hang out where they serve cereal buffet style. She can’t quite remember the name of the place, but she remembers one of the menu items had Captain Crunch with marshmallows, chocolate bits, and graham crackers.  Janet stumbles across the website and locates the menu items. Under the menu she discovers the various items that make up each selection as well as the fruit, candy, and random toppings that can be added to any selection. After finding the specific item, she wants to be able to create the menu item with her toppings, find the total price and then print it out so she can remember everything for when she goes to the restaurant. After printing, she logs out.

Amy is looking for a healthy alternative for her family, one of her kids has a peanut allergy. The other day she pass a fish taco stand that advertised fish tacos, with an emphasis on organic fresh ingredients. At first she was skeptical about a food stand being anything more than a greasy hamburger or hot dog, but her curiosity got the better of her so she checked it out online. She found that not only did this fish taco stand have fresh organic ingredients, but used avocado oil to fry their fish. Amy is now planning on picking up dinner for her family their tomorrow night.

Charlie_35__Abilene, TX

Charlie is a married man with 2 kids who enjoys good food and good times with his family. They tend to go out as a family about once a week and Charlie is always looking for new fun places that are family oriented, but fun for adults as well. Charlie stumbled across this new pizza place coming into town and was interested so he did a quick search and found their site. He found from their easily navigable site that the restaurant was a cool place with great, home made pizza from all natural ingredients. He noticed kids menus on the web site and that they offered old school arcade games like he used to play; perfect for his kids. He also was able to find that they offered some of his favorite draft brews on tap and had several veggie pizzas for his wife who is a vegetarian. He was very pleased with his experience on the web site and couldn’t wait to try out the pizza shop.

Jeff’s friends all want to try out a new seafood restaurant. Jeff really wants to go to be in the company of his friends, but he really hates seafood. Jeff looks up the website for the place his friends are talking about and sneaks a peek at their menu section. He is thrilled to see that there is an entire page of options for those who do not want seafood. He is also thrilled to see that his only option is not a burger and that he is able to try another dish that will give him the experience of the New Orleans themed restaurant without seafood. Jeff is now excited to try out this new place with his friends and while he is on the site, he sees that they can call ahead and reserve a room for their large group. Success for Jeff!

Tony is a man in his late 40s that recently decided to make  a lifestyle change. With a highly active social life that includes far too many burgers and fries, his doctor has asked him to began eating more whole-wheat sandwiches and vegetables instead. Conveniently, he also discovers that [restaurant] caters, allowing him a new, healthy alternative to traditional greasy catered food for his many parties that are a part of his social life.
