Haley Wilkerson, sophomore animal science major from Bonham, Texas, was named the inaugural Miss Frontier Texas on Saturday, March 24.

On March 5, it was officially announced to A&E students that their departmental home would be relocated from Zona Luce to the south wing of the Hardin Administration Building.

The Southwest Section of The Wildlife Society and the Texas Chapter of The Wildlife Society met in Forth Worth on Feb. 23-25. Students attended undergraduate and graduate research presentations, leaving with valuable information and a fresh perspective. More »
A group students and faculty at ACU’s chemistry department are researching ways to simplify the process of converting vegetable oil into bio-diesel, a cost-effective renewable source of energy that can be made out of recycled products like vegetable oils. Dr. Jim Cooke, Professor of Environmental Science, has been using the bio-diesel in his truck for several months as part of the study.
“We are trying to make bio-diesel safer for the average person to use,” said Dr. Cooke. “It does involve chemistry, but it is not impossible to do.” More »
