HR is excited to bring the campus a new Performance Management system that is loaded with options to customize it and make it meaningful for your department. Over the past two years the HR office has created and piloted this new Performance Management system. It replaces the Performance Appraisal that has previously been used.
There will be trainings throughout all of 2012. Each will be from 2 – 3 p.m. in the Adams Center Classroom. All employees that receive performance appraisals or that give performance appraisals are encouraged to attend a training. Please rsvp for one of these trainings to Robyn Smith at robyn.smith@acu.edu to reserve your spot.
Save the date for a future training: 3/26, 4/23, 5/21, 6/25, 7/23, 9/24, 11/26
Effective January 1, Corey Ruff has accepted the responsibilities for day-to-day operations of ACU’s campus facilities. As executive director of facilities and campus management, Corey has accepted responsibility for all routine facilities maintenance and custodial services (in coordination with WFF and Val Mascari) in addition to his existing duties overseeing landscape and grounds. Corey has been responsible for the continued enhancement of ACU’s 340 acres of grounds over the last six years in his role as director of landscape and grounds. In particular, he designed and executed the new landscaping around the Money Student Recreation and Wellness Center, the east side of the campus center and the amphitheater hill overlooking the sidewalk between the Hunter Welcome Center and the main campus. Please feel free to contact Corey with your regular repair and maintenance needs.
For questions/needs regarding major campus construction and renovation projects (generally $25,000 or more), please continue to contact Scot Colley, executive director of construction and risk management. As a reminder, Scot has served as ACU’s project manager for the Hunter Welcome Center, the Money Student Recreation and Wellness Center, the AT&T Learning Studio and (in heavy coordination with Corey Ruff) the “loop line” project.
Please join us in praying for the ACU community. The Office of Student
Ministries has recently launched the Pray ACU blog (blogs.acu.edu/pray) for
students, faculty, staff, parents and alumni to help guide us in prayer. This
site is updated daily with new requests and has a link to the Chapel prayer
request list (myacu login required).

Jostens will be holding a Faculty Fine Quality Academic Regalia sale at the ACU Campus Store Febuary 14th, from 1:45-4:45, to allow you to purchase custom regalia. Beth Pope from Jostens will be on hand to assist with your measurements, orders and to answer any questions you might have. This will be an opportunity for you to have a complete set of custom tailored regalia made for you at an affordable price. Whether you are replacing all or part of aging regalia or deciding it really would be more practical and convenient to buy rather than rent, don’t miss this opportunity. Also, plan to spend a minute browsing in the Campus Store and enjoy some refreshments – compliments of Jostens.
