by   |  10.11.12  |  Announcements, Events

The ACU Police Department wants to take this opportunity to remind everyone about the traffic and parking plans for the annual Homecoming Parade Saturday, October 20th, 2012.
The parade begins at 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of ACU Drive and EN 16th. The parade route will be as follows: From ACU Drive, westbound along EN 16th to Campus Court, turning northbound on Campus Court to EN 21st, ending at Coliseum Way just north of Edwards Hall.

PLEASE MAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:

To make room for the staging area for parade floats, all vehicles must be moved from ACU Drive South  (from Teague Circle to EN 16th including the COBA Circle and Williams Performing Arts Center parking lots) before 11 p.m. Friday night, Oct. 19th.  Any vehicles remaining in the parade staging area after 11 p.m. Friday night will be towed at owners expense.

The parade route will be CLOSED TO ALL VEHICULAR TRAFFIC from 9:15 a.m. until approximately 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning. *NOTE: If you are parked in any of the on-street spaces along EN 16th or Campus Court, you will not be able to move your vehicle during the street closure/parade times. Also, no vehicles will be allowed to exit any of the campus parking lots which will be affected by the route closure until the parade is over and the route re-opened at approximately 10:45 a.m. Please plan accordingly.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
