You are invited to nominate students for May 2013 Honor Awards. Go to the Honor Awards website to view a list of eligible graduating seniors included in a drop down menu on the webpage. If you wish to nominate a student that is not listed send an email to Tina Fleet with your nomination and verification of eligibility will be checked with the registrar. Nomination reasons should at least be a full paragraph describing the student’s personal attributes or contributions that correspond to the award nomination. Your input will assist the Student Life Committee in making appropriate decisions with respect to the final recipients for Honor Man or Honor Woman, Trustees Award, B Sherrod Scholarship, or Dean Adams Achievement.
Please submit your nominations for May 2013 Honor Awards by 5 pm, Friday, April 19.
Hardin Administration Building Suite 320 will be coming available for new occupants sometime in May. The suite consists of two small offices and a reception room. One other room in the suite belongs to a department as their storage room and is not available. Departments that would like to be considered for this space must have their completed Space Request Forms, including all signatures, submitted by Friday, April 19. The Space Request Form and additional information are available from Scott Duncan at duncans@acu.edu or 2039.

Hear Lindsay Smith, horn, on Thursday, April 11 and the horn/clarinet duo of Stephanie Bradley and Meredith Sellers on Saturday, April 13, in the recital hall of the Williams Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Free admission.
With Spring comes romance and its broad emotional spectrum of joy, sadness, hope, despair, and the exuberant but often painful passion of love. Enjoy the song’s of Spring through the compositions of romantic composers Schubert, Liszt, Massenet and Rachmaninov as performed by Artist-in-Residence, Samuel Cook. Dr. Stephen Johnson, dean of the Honors College, invites you to take advantage of the faculty/staff discount for this year’s Summer Academy program for high school students. The ACU Athletic Department will host an on-site camp registration for employees of ACU. Registration will take place in the conference room of Teague Special Events Center on May 23rd, from 1- 4 p.m. Registration packets will be available or staff can print forms by visiting ACU Sports website. Are you expecting a newborn? If so, please remember that our plan only allows 30 days from the date of birth to add your newborn to your insurance. If you do not add your child within this time period, the baby is not eligible for coverage until benefits open enrollment. If you are expecting, please contact Human Resources at x2359 with your due date so that we can send you a reminder.
