“Rock the Ages” with a tour through the decades at Freshman Follies this Saturday. Shows times are 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Saturday only, Sept. 14. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for ACU students. Tickets can be purchased in the basement of the Campus Center Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m through 3 p.m. or at the door. All tickets are general admission. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each show.
TIAA-CREF will be on campus Monday, Sept. 9 – Wednesday, Sept. 11 hosting group meetings regarding options in the termination of ACU’s frozen 401(a) and 401(k) plans. All of the sessions will be held in the McCaleb Conference Room in the Hunter Welcome Center. The meeting schedule is as following: Monday, Sept. 9, 1:00 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, 9:00 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Last year, IT completed an audit review which resulted in some recommendations which will be implemented in the coming months. These include password changes and other security measures. Watch for updates in this newsletter and at blogs.acu.edu/technologysupport.
Enrollment held their annual end-of-recruiting season awards lunch last week. Four annual awards were presented. Recipients were:

Regarding the recent stabbing at Spring High School last week, we are asking for prayers for the students, parents, teachers and administrators of Spring High School, including ACU trustee, Ralph Draper, who is the superintendent of Spring Independent School District. ACU also has several Spring HS alumni enrolled and an ACU alum who is a teacher at Spring High School.
The Nursing Department is hosting a come and go Open House on Sept. 11th from 2-3:30 p.m. The entire Zona Luce building will be open for viewing including the Clinical Simulator Labs. The open house will include tours, refreshments, and prize drawings.
