Homecoming Carnival – Make plans to attend the 2013 Homecoming Carnival on Friday from 5-8 p.m. on the northeast lawn of the Williams Performing Arts Center. Cost is $5 per wristband. Carnival food will also be available for purchase. Wristbands can be pre-purchased this week through Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Alumni Relations Office, Suite 280 of the Hunter Welcome Center.
Offices will close at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct 18th, to allow faculty and staff to attend the homecoming carnival. Please display appropriate signage at your offices to notify students and visitors in advance. Be sure to take this opportunity to interact with campus visitors as well.
Homecoming JamFest Concert and Fireworks Show – Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy student talent on the east lawn of the Hunter Welcome Center! Student bands kick off at 6:15 p.m. Enjoy a spectacular fireworks show at 8:15 p.m., followed by the JamFest headlining bands.
Homecoming Parade – Enjoy colorful floats, music and special guests in the 2013 Homecoming Parade. Grand Marshal is Mrs. Dewby (Adams ’50) Ray. The parade is Saturday, Oct. 19 and begins at 9:30 a.m. on E.N. 16th and then on to Campus Court.
Homecoming Chapel – Engage in a time of worship on Saturday at 10:45 a.m. The guest speaker is Josh Ross (’03), pulpit minister at Sycamore View Church of Christ in Memphis.
Homecoming Football Game – Watch the ACU Wildcats take on the University of the Incarnate Word Cardinals at 2 p.m. at Shotwell Stadium.
