Message from the Board of Trustees

by   |  11.11.13  |  Events

The Board of Trustees would like to thank you for your participation in the presidential review process. We believe the involvement of an outside consultant to provide a very thorough assessment is a healthy endeavor that we plan to continue every five years. Thanks to your involvement, we gleaned insights into both the university’s and the President’s strengths and opportunities. The Board and the President are eager to address both in the coming years as we all work together to continuously improve the campus environment, the marketplace reputation of ACU and to enhance our overall commitment to the achievement of our worthy mission. Higher education is in a period of transformation – and we will continue to seek new ways to fulfill our mission while maintaining our commitment to affordability.  The Board of Trustees believes this is a significant time to be a part of the great work of ACU, and we look forward to working together in the coming years to achieve all that God has in store for Abilene Christian University.

Dr. Barry Packer, chair of ACU’s Board of Trustees
